stuck at guangzhou airport and afraid to go to the airport hotel
A Heng's plane was 5 hours late from Hanoi to GuangZhou. She missed her connection. She can't get another flight to Nanjing until 8 am. A lot of other people missed connections. All of the chairs in every lounge are taken and she's sitting on the floor. She thinks she'll be sitting on the floor for the next 12 hours. It's going home from Chinese New Year's time and China Southern Airlines is really terrible. They won't comp her a hotel room. There's a $25 hotel near the airport. They'll send a car or shuttle or whatever to pick her up. But she's afraid that it'll be a trap and she'll be sold off into slavery and I won't know the real hotel name to tell the police even if there really is a hotel. So she said she'd call her mother for advice.
